Hi all,I'm hoping for some advice on an area I know next to nothing about.

I have an Omega Seamaster which I no longer use and Mrs Orse has a Rolex Cellini she no longer uses.I was thinking of trading them in against a new Breitling of some sort.

Is this a realistic thought?I have no idea of the value of them. The Omega is about 11 or 12 years old and has all its paperwork and box. There is one small scratch on the blue outer ring and the bracelet has about 4 years normal wear.I think it cost about £895 when bought. The Cellini is about 6 years old and also has all its papers and has little wear.It cost £2000 or £2200 when bought.

I don't want the hassle of e bay sales so any thoughts or guidance very welcome.

Thanks.

Just recently looked at doing something similar - trading my two Breitlings as it happens against something else.

The dealer that I talked to would only trade a single watch against a single watch, which wasn't really an issue for me. Obviously other dealers may have different policies, but you might be better off looking at a comissioned sale followed by your purchase rather than a trade.

watchfinder.co.uk do commission sales or could also do trade ins. Used them 3 times no and very happy with the service
