Hi guys, Odd one.

I have a stainless steel watch bracelet which has lots of imperfections over 3 years of use. Can you buy a type of polish even if it is just to brighten it up?

It also sports a scratched face. Can these be polished out? I can just feel it with my nail so fear it may be too deep.

Thanks

Scott

I use Brasso on my bracelet and it works great. Apparently jewellers recommend this too.

Scott can you forward pics of the watch bracelet and face please?

Email address is satintime@gmail.com if that's easier.

Thanks

If it has a brushed finish, you can use a green scotchbrite pad or a pan scourer to remove scratches & restore the brushed finish. I did my daily beater 10 yr old GMT a few weeks ago, and it came up looking brand new. Just take your time and go in the direction of the grain.

If its a polished mirror finish with scratches, then try a Cape Cod polishing cloth. If the scratches are too deep to remove with cape cod, try using some 1000 grit wet and dry first.. And then follow this up with Cape Cod.

Personally i don't worry too much about scratches.
