Ok, just purchased an Orange monster, and very happy with it I am to.

However, I would really like the exhibition back as found on the Seiko 5's. I understand it's a straight swap, and I also know the Monsters movement is not the nicest to look at but after scouring here, and the web in general I can't seem to find anywhere that sells the back I require. Lots of talk of it but no link/suggestions.

Can anyone help? I can promise lots of nice pictures of the change once complete!

Not that I would want a display back on my Monster but if I did I would just buy another Seiko with the same case and swap the backs over. There must be one surely?

There are quite a few Seiko 5's for sale on ebay from what I've seen. I didn't want to spend £140ish on another watch just for the back. Although a 5 is on my list, I wouldn't like to lose the back off one. I'd prefer to buy the part separately if possible.

What about contacting Harold/Yobokies? He may have one.

Is the Mini-monster casebacknot the same size? You can get those for under £100 and you could resell it for almost all your money.

Bry what is the condition of that back? Would you be prepared to part with it?

Does anyone have a link/email address for yobookies? I can only find the photobucket link to watch pictures.

I suppose failing all else I could pick up a mini monster, I think creation are the cheapest at just under £100.

Hi Muska,

I refinish watch cases and bracelets as a full time hobby the caseback condition is good can easily make her perfect as I have a centre lathe for refinishing work.

Yours for £15 do you want a plain glass?

Bry thanks for the reply, could I ask you to email me on Matt@mjstanton.com please with glass options? I'll take it and if you're able to make it perfect that would be great.
