Jacques Lemans Watches?

Stood in the duty-free shop in the departures lounge at Paphos airport last week considering a new watch I found a display with several Jacques Lemans watches, mainly their F1 series. Until then i'd never heard of them, and looking at the company's website it would seem they have only been around since 1975. I didn't buy because I didn't know the brand, but I liked several enough that I would have bought one if I knew more about them.

So, are they any good?

I've not heard of them either, but that doesn't mean much. On the website I can't see find movements they use - it just says some Japanese and Swiss movements.
