Excellent video, I can start to understand why some watches are so expensive when you consider the time and skill involved in making them.

Good point but the rossette is made out of bronze which is self lubricating. I used to work for Glacier Metal Company many years ago and we made bronze bearing bushes for train wheel axles..

Fascinating.... I have a couple of watches with these dials, it's incredible to see the craftsmanship and patience required to make one.
