My other half and I have been together about 5 years now, she's been bought a couple of watches (mid level cheap stuff, Pulsar and Breil) but I'd like to get her a nice watch.

In a sense luckily she's quite tall and would actually wear a nice reasonably sized mens watch better than most womens watches, so I'm looking for suggestions.

Ideally sports watch shaped, I don't want another Omega seamaster, I bought my ex a ladies seamaster and to be honest we looked stupid going out together. Mid size or relatively small, no Breitlings. Sensible money absolute max £1k and ideally less than that.

Well, they'd be cheap to your measures, but the OH absolutely loves her "Esprit" watches, and imho they make some very good looking ones for nearly no money.

The other part is that the OH wouldn't want a watch costing over £200, as she'd rather spend that money on shoes smile.

It's not a gent's watch, but my wife loves her Tag Aquaracer ( http://www.tagheuer.com/the-collection/women-colle...). I think they are around the 1,000 pound mark, depending on the finish. Failing that, the gent's versions could also work...?

That's precisely the watch I'd like her to have, but as said can do without his and hers again! Unless of course I get that Sub I've always promised myself!!

Similar but bought this for my wife last year.

Got one of these planned but don't tell her....

It's a JLC reverso squadra lady duetto. Price depends on wether you go for white gold or steel, obviously. Also I'm in Aus so not sure what UK pricing is.

Bought my other half an Omega Constellation auto, she loves it. And it fits her very well.

yes Mrs MoJo wears my Airking, well, her Airking now, as I have never worn it. It's way too small for my wrist and was claimed by her pretty much the day I bought it on a whim !!

Mens Rolex look great on women smile

Buy her a rolex date just 31mm, a bit bigger than the lady date just at 25mm if I'm correct. IMO stunning and never dated.

My other half Gemma loves her date just(s), last one supplied by Dominic H of Hackett watches....he is the man !!

Give him a shout on here !!!
