Recent new arrival - Nomos Tangente Gangreserve - with my favourite complication, the power reserve indicator. Relatively small, incredibly slim dressy watch, with an in-house hand wind movement and a very elegant power reserve display.

Sorry for all the pics I was amusing myself ...

And to give an indication of size, here it is alongside a Damasko DA37:

Very, very nice.

Good choice. And yes, I too like Nomos' take on the power reserve.

Nomos do some good watches, and that's one of them - well done chap, very classy.

That looks lovely. The typeface is very 'clean' looking and makes a very stylish watch

Cracking.
And thanks for broadening my (limited) knowledge - I'd not heard of Nomos before. thumbup

Very nice - just wish they made slightly larger versions.

I'd like to see a wrist shot, but I'd hazard a guess that it wears a little larger than the numbers would suggest, because it's all dial.

Thanks for the comments chaps.

It is definitely on the small side, and extremely slim. It does wear little bit larger due to the very slim bezel, but you can't get away from the fact its not a big watch.

It certainly won't be a daily wearer, but will get used for dressier occasions. The slimness is a big plus for me, I don't like thick watches at the best of times, and it will fit easily under any cuffs.

I could have a go at a wrist shot, but to be honest I'm pretty rubbish at them and they rarely come out well.

Nomos are not normally my thing, but that is a lovely looking watch!
Still not keen on the dial though, there's something about it that just doesn't quite appeal.

CJ is it you that has a Nomos?
I know someone on PH has one!

Max Bill, isn't it? Are you bringing it on Saturday CJ?

Not me, although I've talked about them in the past. I do think I will have one at some point.

Certainly am. The mesh will be going back on it, too. It's currently breaking in a Hirsch Ascot strap, which is actually not as good as I'd hoped for (the internal stitching is pretty rough). It looks nice, but that's all. On the mesh it looks speshul.
