I'm after some expert advice. I have a stainless Sub Date which I've owned from new, I'm getting a bit bored of wearing it every day (owned for 7 years) so I'm looking for another watch which will complement it. I have around £4k to spend, I've been looking at Panerais and Chopard Mille Miglias but confused as to which model to go for. My requirements are for an automatic movement, 40mm to 46mm, not a steel bracelet and something that won't lose lots of money and if poss retain it. I'm looking to buy used, and don't like fussy watches ie most Breitlings. Would welcome any suggestions.

something that won't lose lots of money - has to be a panerai then.

With your criteria I'd be looking at something like a Glashutte or JLC.

This Sport Evo went for well under your budget.

And if you want a large JLC you could get this.
