You'd be looking for 16800 at around £4k depending upon condition...

I haven't bought these for a while. I guess your figure is about right, though with these it all comes down to condition. A lot were purchased for everyday use, so look out for wear in the bracelet (the load bearing part is 18ct gold) and wear to the bezel (the edges 'round off'). The demand for the 16610 (Steel Sub-Date) and 16600 (SeaDweller) has been much higher than that of the 16613 (bi-col Sub). The steel watches are more durable, and more suited to everyday wear.

What for an early 16610? or a late 5513?

Harry, I think the Sub-Date was a 16800 in 1986 the 16610 was a couple of years later. Yes, a 5513 non-date Sub would be the other option...

Yeah 16800 up to early 1987, then the 168000 Transitional (I'd love one of these as they cover my birth year! smile) in 1987, followed by the 16610 in 1988. Although there may be a bit of overlap on those models over those years. smile

To the OP (or anyone else looking) - I have a chum who is selling one of these (16613 - blue face) for about 3 and a bit (from memory).

I've seen it and it's in great nick.

So if you don't get fixed up please send me a PM and I will find out more details (age/price/Box/Papers etc etc)as I'll be seeing him later this month

Cheers

JP
