With Seiko, just Google the model number to find the cheapest price. Leave off the K1 at the end, that's just a reference for the band / strap I think, you'll get more hits without it.

All the cheapest Seikos come from the East, don't be scared of EBay. Only the top end Seiko stuff gets faked, never Seiko 5.

With eBay, the golden rule is always buy the seller first. I was sent a piece of crap from Hong Kong a month back. Filed a complaint with Papal and was refunded within the hour. I think they just zoom in on the words China and watch, and side with the buyer every time.

I bought the same watch off ebay last week for £86 brand new. Again coming from Kong Kong (China?) Seller was Holicbox. Just checked and he has nothing for sale at the moment.

The watch hasn't arrived yet so can't comment on the watch or the seller although I am sure the seller came recommended on here or TZ. I also read reports that this particular watch is now out of production - but I could well be wrong.

Creation Watches were to be my second choice.

No one should have shown me the Creation website.

I'm going to be very overdrawn at this rate.

Buy the one I like, and if you don't like it blame me.

Polished will show smaller scratches more than brushed, but you can polish them out easier on polished than brushed... My Monster is on a (mostly) brushed steel bracelet, that's where my money would go yes
