Two G Shocks - which one ?

I like the negative LCD one, looks very stealthy !

but not sure how practical they are trying to read the time in different light conditions?

I would go for the negative display M5600BC, it is the one I have and I prefer the negative display it is cooler IMO.

I love the black displays. The first time I saw them in a catalogue several years ago I was in awe. However, they're not as clear as normal displays and sometimes a crafty glance at it while someone is rabbiting on is harder to get a good reading.

id like too see them both "in the flesh" - anyone know who sells these watches in Bristol ?

If I look at them online again my girlfriend is going to go nuts. Spent most xfactor last night staring at them both on the laptop!!!

H Samual have the negative faced model listed on their website and I know that my local store keeps Gs as that's where I got mine, I'd have thought that you'd have an H Samual near you. I'd bet that you end up with the negative faced model anyway

I only buy the negative display models, I much prefer them.

I swear you'd have to be mad to open a shop selling anything expensive and postable now.

My outlook might be a bit skewed, as I live in Oslo. I can buy a G Shock for £100 online, and it's £350 in a window down the road.
