Hi Guys,
Pretty new to the watch world. Dad has lots of automatics and I own a very good value Christopher Ward watch.
I've now set my heart on a vintage Omega Chronostop. Late 60's, ,early 70's I believe.
Problem is, I haven't had much luck finding one on line.
Can anyone recommend any good sites/forums or even Fairs which are a good place to search for such watches.
Cheers

Austin Kaye on the Strand in London have a good selection of old Omegas: http://www.austinkaye.co.uk/Products/Pre-Owned-Wat...
I have bought from them and would do so again.

Cool, thanks for those two.
I will contact the London seller and ask if they can source one for me.
The specific type I want is Grey faced, with orange second hand, and the date function.
The one they have on the Vintage Seekers website is the drivers type, designed to be worn on the wrist underside.
I have found one for sale on Chrono24.com. Private seller in Belgium. I don't know how safe that kind of deal would be though.

There appears to be exactly what you're looking for on the PH classifieds presently...I have no conncetion with the seller.
So close. Saw that one earlier, No date function unfortunately. Not critical but I find the date on a watch is really quite useful. There appears to be exactly what you're looking for on the PH classifieds presently...I have no conncetion with the seller.
Cheers anyway.
