Hi guys,

Nice to see some avid watch collectors here. I would like to introduce you good people to some of the watches in my collection....

PP 5960P

My favorite at the moment, the PP 5205G

My daily wearer, Richard Mille RM-10

My AP ROO Ti with a custom blue strap

And finally, my Franck Muller Casablanca 10th year anniv edition with black rubber strap

I have a Lange Zietwerg coming my way from Germany in January as well.

Looking forward to sharing more with all of you. smile

I'm finding it hard to tell from that pic, but it looks to me as though the screwheads have been aligned on the Royal Oak.

If that's the case, it's the first time I've seen that nerd

What a lovely collection of watches.

I have a particular soft spot for the Franck Muller (I think one of those might be a 40th birthday present for me).

AJ, these aren't 'screw heads' that screw into the bezel. They are the heads of hexag bolts that drop into the bezel, and are held in place by round screws which screw through the caseback through the case into a male/female union sandwiching the bezel/case/caseback together.

You can't turn a hexag screw head down into a hexag hole. Hope this makes sense...

Hmm...

Given that this is the first post from someone in a country a long way away, would it be fair to assume that post number 2 will be offering these watches for sale at a very reasonable price, just for us because we're such good people?

You say that, but then don't explain it. However I am not sure if you can get birds custard in Jakarta.

What they mean is they don't believe they are actually yours. The usual proof is Birds Custard, however I think we would accept something showing you or todays paper with them.

As for a new member to show such a fine collection it is quite impressive, if you show us that they are yours people will be a lot more accommodating.

Someone new appears with some nice watches and within a few minutes . . .

He gets called a liar, someone comments on his arms and someone else accuses him of being about to try and sell 'reduced price' watches. oh and someone finds a photo of him and finds out what he does for a living.

I thought it, but did not say/write it. Let's see how this pans out, or proves we are too cynical biggrin
