Dominic H - The buying experience

I wanted to say a big thank you to Dominic H for my recent purchase.
Firstly, to those who wonder who he is, what he can do, can you negotiate with him and, above all else, is he genuine, the answer is that he's a genuine dealer who can supply, provide a great deal, will negotiate, makes the buying process not only easy but a real pleasure and yes he absolutely real.
Above all its quite clear he's a watch guy through and through - not just a shop monkey.
The watch was supplied exactly as described and Dominic took considerable time to ensure that the watch was fitted perfectly, that all functions were understood and that i was 100% happy. There was no pushiness, demanding of payment straight away and i found the whole experience of buying a halo watch just that - an experience.
Originally i was just going to have the watch delivered but i actually really enjoyed the trip to London to pick it up and Dominic ensured that from the moment i arrived it was handled like an experience rather than a chore. For instance he passed the boxed watch over to me stating 'there you are, thats your watch' to allow me to open it, enjoy the moment it is opened for the first time and the feeling of peeling off the stickers, taking in each part of the packaging, reading the warranty card/instructions and enjoying the whole package. As opposed to being passed a display watch with all packaging removed and dust in all the parts.
Would I use him again? absolutely. Would I recommend him to others? absolutely.
We slate people a lot on PH so i feel good service deserves a mention, and given the trust needed to buy a decent watch its important people are able to make an informed decision about where they buy.

As it happens the strap is slightly too large, I have thin wrists. Dominic berated himself for not asking this before we put the order in for the watch. So now he's offered to pay for a new replacement. Excellent service and I'd definately buy my watches from him in future.

Although I have mentioned it on an earlier thread it clearly bears repeating here.
Within the span of a few e mails and a couple of phone calls Dominic had sourced and delivered to my home a beautiful new JLC Regulateur a Tourbillon. He showed exemplary levels of customer care and attention to detail throughout and made the buying experience an absolute pleasure. Top man.

I've purchased from him twice so far and I'm hoping for a third next year ...DomH had my dads Rolex 16010 completed overhauled, this required sourcing a new diad and hands, the watch was completly stripped , rebuilt and supplied with a new rolex croc strap. I wore it on my wedding day even though the old man couldn't make it.
I picked up the wifes xmas present on Friday, watch was sourced in 2 days and 20% of rrp, he could have bettered that if I wanted it in Jan.
Total genuine and a pleasure to deal with, I know where I will be getting my next watch!
