Hi,
I got given about £500 for my birthday in August for a watch. I figured I would stretch the budget a little giving me maybe £1k for the watch. I thought it would be an easy purchase but still not managed to find something I fancy a few months later! Any suggestions?
Cheers

You'll have to give us more to go on, style eg diver, chrono, dress watch, strap (metal or leather), size, new or second hand. An idea of what you like would be a start!

I thought I might get asked that! I currently have an Armani AR0100 which I like because it looks smart and stands out. I do however like chronographs despite the fact Im sure the function would never get used!

Have a look at brands such as Oris, Raymond Weil, Hamilton, Glycine or Sinn if going new, TAG, Omega if you'd be happy with used. Google is always your friend.

Blowers Jewellers is always a favourite on here. I have not used myself yet but would. They have a lot of 'Pre Owned' stuff like Omega Seamasters etc often in unworn condition with box & papers so like new but around the £1k mark.

Also remember that you should be able to get a decent discount so can look at things up to £1250 in RRP and that would be battled down in the shop to £1k?

Pre-owned Omega if it was my money.

ETA: Tag if you're in to that sort of thing, might be worth a look...
