Cartier Problems

I recently purchased a stainless steel and gold Cartier Balloon Bleu Mens watch from the official Cartier agent in the Middle East country where I live.
After 2 days the watch stopped, it looked like the minute hand was catching on the hour hand. The agent said they would send it to be repaired. As this was not accecptable as it was a new watch, I requested the agent replace it with a new one. In about 2 weeks I pnoned and was told the new watch had arrived from Cartier. When I went to the shop the agent produced another Cartier Balloon Bleu watch and put it in my box, tipexed out the original serial number and wrote in the serial number of the new watch. I was a bit surprised, but accecpted the new watch, thinking all my troubles would be over. Now 1 week later the next "new" watch has stopped.
I suspect some funny business has gone on here, any thoughts and advise on the next move from the learned members of the forum.

If Cartier had replaced the watch as faulty, it should have a new Cartier International Warranty.
I would be concerned that a replacement has failed so quickly, you may want to address your concerns to;
