Thoughts about this watch, please

Hello,

I am not a regular on this part of the forum so be gentle with me, please. I am serious considering this watch at blowers but have never bought a watch second hand before (although I have bought lots of second hand cars!). Can people offer me any advice, opinions on value, provenance etc? How negotiable would the price be -if at all.

If I was spending 20 grand on a watch I would be negotiating very hard, also if I didn't know much about them I would be vary careful, saying that, that is a very nice watch, I don't know what it's worth though but the sellers will be trying to make a good margin.

Blowers are well respected so provenance really shouldn't be an issue. If you like it go for it, but as said negotiate for a discount.
I wouldn't know what a watch like that is worth (way out of my league) but when buying any watch I always have a discount value in mind that would make me happy to purchase, I'm sure that is the same for you.

Good luck and enjoy whatever you finally decide to buy, I'm sure it will be special if your example is anything to go by.

Thank you Adrian. I should have been clearer in my initial post. I spend most of my time in Zurich and know a reasonable amount about patek's and the price seems ok, particularly converted to Swiss francs, what I wasn't sure about was the discount from new one would expect etc. Just wanted a few thoughts before I ring them.
