Hi all,

Have my heart set on a Rolex DeepSea SeaDweller 116660. Wasn't long ago there was one on watches.co.uk for £4.5k but now they seem to be a lot rarer. I'm not looking for a pristine/unused one, just a used second hand model to have a hard life.

Any decent websites apart from the above? Nothing on eBay under £5k at the moment.

Have been out of the buying game for a year and the world has moved on!!

TIA

+1 for Dom ... What he doesn't know about Rolex watches (and sourcing them) can be written on the back of a matchbox, with a telegraph pole.

Keep an eye on watchfinder.co.uk

I'm not sure you're trying that hard, there is one in PH classifieds

There sure is, for £5450. There are dozens about for that money, including dealers. I want one sub-£5k!

Have sourced one for £4950 now, would like to get below that if I can frown

That's pretty good if it's from a dealer!
They've been as low as £4.4/4.5k on TZ-UK, but that was a few months back; no idea if that's a realistic price now.

Yup, £4.4-4.5 was what I had in mind when I started out. Apparently the new prices are so high now that a dealer watch is generally £5.5k now, which is slightly differnt territory.

The deal I have is a private sale, but could find that anywhere I suppose. Not much on TZ right now, at least in the UK!

Is there a more UK focussed equivalent of TZ?

TZ is a UK-based website, are you sure you looked at the right site? TZ-UK link.
There aren't any on there at the moment I don't think.

List is £6.6 I think, so £4.5 is a tough budget!
