Just put my watch on for flying up to Edinburgh for work.

Found that my little darlings must have been playing with it, as it's an hour fast....

As it's set via radio, and I remember what a faff it was figuring out how to set it up initially, I wondered if someone could help with simple instructions.

For info, the little left display is LON, the main right display is PAR, there's a very small cross flashing under that, and there is a smt icon in the bottom right of the right display.

Hope that makes sense, I just want to get it back to the correct time (GMT this time of year? I'm an idiot I know!)

Cheers in advance,

Sam

You need to set the receive mode to time (pull the crown out once and turn it), then pull the crown out again and press the top button repeatedly until SMT flashes then press the lower button until it says off, then push the crown back in and that should sort it.

Cheers Stef, but it seems something more fundamental is wrong...

That didn't work, and I've noticed that the top left dial that usually indicates the battery level is pointing at jpn, also, when i change the mode to chrono or timer (the two functions I actually use wink ), the right LCD isn't changing....

Think it may need to be taken to a citizen dealer for a reset or something.

Bugger.

Sometimes the get their knickers in a twist, It is easier to do a reset and start again, I had to do this for someone today, it then sorted itself out.

Can you let me know how to do this?

It would be greatly appreciated.

For the one I did, you put the mode to chrono, pull the winder out two clicks, then press buttons A and B together until it beeps, then everything goes to zero

Ta muchly Adrian, although I got scared I'd buggered things up - when I pressed both buttons, the whole watch just shut down!

Checked again after an hour, and it was still the same, I resigned myself to finding a dealer in Edinburgh to sort it out.

However, woke up this morning, and it's working, displaying UTC for both timezones, which is fine as at least it's the right time!

I have noticed that the battery meter is now pointing to USA, which I believe means it's looking to sync to the atomic clock frequency in the states, which it obviously won't pick up. How can I set it back to EUR, which is I understand the atomic clock in Germany?

If I can get that sorted, it'll be fine until I get back home at the weekend and can afford a couple of hours going through the manual.

Once again, many thanks for being patient with a ignoramus.

Sam,

From my experience it should sync to the local signal, i.e. the one set by the watch time zones. I have not had that problem before.

How much battery does your watch have? Mine is a bd when it's not fully charged.
