Was wondering if any watch gurus know the answer to a question I have...?

My vintage 1974 Rolex Oysterdate Precision has the folded steel tappered 19mm bracelet like in this photo.

Does anyone know if I can fit the wider non tappered, non-folded style like in this picture.

Please excuse the dealers name...

Thanks...

I'm not sure if you can do, given it's not tapered I can't see how it would fit. You can definitely do 19mm and put 20mm endlinks on to fit a 20mm lug-spacing with a 19mm bracelet, but I don't think it'll work the other way around...

The first image is the folded 7835 Oyster bracelet to fit a 19mm OysterDate. The second image is the later 78350/19 bracelet. It's not straight it is tapered and will fit your earlier watch.

Perfect, I do have the folded bracelet, my concern was over the 19mm fitting. You've solved my problem, thanks.
