The Big Bang...
I know i shouldn't like it. It's big, brash and blingy, the bought-in ETA movement etc.
But I can't help it, I want one! Am I mad?
What's the problem.I know i shouldn't like it. It's big, brash and blingy, the bought-in ETA movement etc.

Most watches are like this to a certain extent. Most are wildly overpriced when something cheaper tells the time better. Most brands are all about marketing and creating illusions of exclusivity and image.
If you like it buy it. Most branding is just advertising nonsense anyway.

If we only purchased based on pure logic we'd all probably all be wearing the cheapest digital watches. Possibly.

Ive had a BB Ice for a while, yes its big and brash, the darker ceramic ones are less "blingy" but I like it. Different watches for different occasions etc ! and always down to personal taste I know i shouldn't like it. It's big, brash and blingy, the bought-in ETA movement etc.
But I can't help it, I want one! Am I mad?

Unless you are an overpaid professional footballer with money to burn, you would have to be certifiable to buy one brand new. Second hand, after 75% depreciation, then maybe you could make a case for one.

In a similar vein I also like the Corum Admiral's Cup, which is a lot cheaper.
Just fancy a bit more "in your face" the weekends, to make a change from my JLC workhorse.

See? Cured. You can't possibly want one now.
