Help required - currently have a CW C70 DBR1 (ok, slightly more than £200) on order but, during the somewhat lengthy wait, I have kind of "gone off" it...I think in reality the novelty has worn off and I've started to window shop for something else out of impatience and, if it had already arrived, I'd think it was lovely and be suitably happy!

So, should I keep or cancel and get one of the following?

Seiko SKZ209

Tissot PRC200

Casio Edifice EQW-M1000DB

Thanks all!

I prefer the SKX007 to the SEIKO 5 models...

Can be had on the 'bay for around £140 from Japan on rubber, or £160 with a bracelet.

The Steinharts are an excellent buy for the money. I really like the Aviation GMT, but it's quite a big piece.

Hmmmm...I do like that actually.

Though I'm slightly concerned about ordering another watch that isn't in stock due to my possible impatience...!! Having checked through their other models, there are 1 or 2 other possibilities too.

Damn it, this was meant to make things easier, not more complicated?!

The Seiko Atlas or an SKX007/009 would be my recommendation.

The Atlas wears quite big.

I have the Tissot prc 200 with black leather strap and it's great and has a nice weight to it, although I would like another automatic (other than my smart dress/work watch) or even my first mechanical watch...... I like the seiko 5 and seems a lot of watch for not a lot of money, I presume this is because they are from Japan and are not Swiss..... ? What are the bracelets like? I have a thing about bracelets that are too tinny and flimsy. Sorry to digress!

Probably sound like a stuck record here, but SKX007 / 009 yes

The Atlas was on a recent shortlist of mind, but the 007 won in the end.

You & me both. It really is the MX5 of affordable watches.
