Thinking of selling an Omega....
Discussion
....but I know almost NOTHING about this watch at all.
Bit of background. I was bought this watch in 2007 - it was purchased from a small independent jeweller in 2007. All service history and the Omega box itself have long since been lost but the jeweller had serviced it and certified it to have an 18ct white gold strap, diamond bezel. The receipt dates the watch for 1970.
In all the time i've had it i've worn it exactly three times so i'm wondering what to do with it - sell it? Maybe - I also wonder if I decide to keep it, should I be insuring it separately on my household contents insurance..
I've scoured the net and cannot find another De Ville that even looks like this watch so i'm stumped.
I'd be grateful for any of your thoughts

Thanks for that - I did wonder.
Same here - despite lots of searching, i've found nothing close to it.
Having bought it from a jewellers, I assumed it is a geniune article but am flummoxed as to where to start valuing it.
Do we have a resident watch expert on here who might know?
If Nemesis can't find anything then you may have come to a dead end. Perhaps Dom H may have seen something similar, he is the resident watch dealer. Same here - despite lots of searching, i've found nothing close to it.

That is a very bizarre and distinctive watch, you wouldn't forget seeing one in a hurry that's for sure. I hope somebody can provide you with some information.
Good luck.
