I would be grateful for opinions. I have a Sub C in SS but for whatever reason I am being drawn to a TT version as per this -

http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/Rolex_Ceramic_S...

TT is not normally my thing, but the black / gold combination on this one really appeals to me.

I can change from one to the other without much additional cost.

Would that be a silly thing to do? Future residuals might be a concern.

Thanks

If you are concerned about residuals then don't wear it, lock it in a safe for 10 years at least.
Fun eh ?
If you love it , buy it , wear it and enjoy it.

Residual value is always a concern for a flipper such as myself, so thanks but your comment does not really assist that much.

Stop worrying about a few quid. Get on and enjoy.

An SS Sub will always be easier to get rid of than a TT or Gold one. Residuals are probably not too different if you achieve a decent discount on the TT (which over RRP I would expect to).

TT....Buy it well, you wont lose any more than you will on a SS.

£7580 - 20% = £6000, resale £5500-£5700 (loss £300-£500)
£4970 - 10% = £4473, resale £4000-£4100 (loss £373-£473)
