The first is my graduation present to myself - a Citizen Eco Drive Titanium;

The second is my latest acquisition - a Seiko Black Monster;

The Citizen might not be everyone's first choice as a daily but the 5 year warranty and Eco drive appealed. Plus, I love the look of it. I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality. It really is a lot of watch for the money.

The Seiko arrived yesterday and so far I love it. It's a solid piece which far outweighs the Citizen, obviously and it seems to be another bargain but the quality is lacking compared to the Citizen. Both pieces have really impressed me and I'm sure they'll get equal wrist time.

Together;

I've bought these two in the space of a month and I'm sure there's more to come. I've definitely caught the bug considering I've never worn watches up until February. biggrin

For those who are interested, the photos were taken with a Nikon D60 with a 70-300mm lens. Not entirely appropriate for the job but I don’t have a macro lens. I was stood at the other end of the room! hehe

I could also do with a polarizing filter but that's for another day. Next up will be a quality Swiss special occasion watch.

That's a great start, both of them are excellent choices.

Thanks guys, I'm very happy with both.

I've got another photo of the Seiko case back but it's showing numbers. What's the general consensus about showing photos like this? Safe or a no go? I don’t know if it’s a serial number but I'd like to be safe than sorry.

Cracking snaps - and has already been said, the Monster will be the first purchase of many. I'd say run away now, but I fear it's already too late.... resistance is futile biggrin

Good news for me. I've got a job interview for a role that I desperately want. Now the question is, which watch do I wear? I suppose it's not that hard to choose, I've only got the two hehe

Nah. This is time for the third member of your collection - your 'good luck interview' watch.

It's at a design consultancy so I'm thinking smart casual. Tidy jeans, black shoes and a shirt/jumper/suit jacket combo. Ideally it'd be time for a 3rd addition but I'll need the job before I can pay for it hehe
