Mulitple watch winding box needed
Discussion
I am in the fortunate position of having to require a winding box for a collection of 2 x Vacherons, 1 x Patek, 1 x IWC, 1 x Cartier and potentially a couple more nice watches.
I just don't wear the watches enough, and I hope that with the box I will have more acess to the watches without any hassle.
I am looking for a 6 x watch winding box. Having done a little research online, the costs are absolutely ludicrous!
Can anyone suggest some good value boxes? I am not looking for any fancy woods, just something tahat resembles good taste. Just because the watches cost what they do, doens't mean I am particulary keen on spending the same on their boxes. I just can't justify the prices!
Thanks in advance for any help.

You'll only be believed if you stick a few pictures up; no custard required though.
I've no idea but something like this perhaps?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Premier-Watch-Winder-watch...
or:
http://www.watch-winder.co.uk/Burlwood-Four-Watch-...
(Beats by a magnitude of twenty the price of the Orbitas and similar I think, but no idea about noise & longevity. Perhaps two 3 watch winders may be easier?)

Thanks Andy, that's more like the price range I think these things are worth. Not really bothered if I am believed or not...

Can't seem to find any prices though... They will be too pricey though I think, given the single is £400. I do like it though - looks like it is an item of quality. I thought I wanted a box with a window to admire them, but I think perhaps better to have a closed, solid door for security and noise?

lol, that's more like it! You must be a devil with women...

Only two watches as can't be bothered opening up stuff for the others. Sorry for the bad quality, but hopefully its a substitute of sorts for custard. The watch on the left is my daily drive.

I'm afraid that the one you linked to will probably be in the region of £3K.

The trouble with watch winders is that they don't fit in the average safe..... A bonus for burglars as the watches are beautifully presented and all showing the right time!
Your collection needs to be in a safe, so a point maybe worth considering.
Indeed, which is one of the reasons I don't have one to be honest. They're all insured, but that's not the point. Perhaps a smaller case for just a couple that I can swap around easily is more suited to the cause.Your collection needs to be in a safe, so a point maybe worth considering.

The problem with putting them in the safe all the time is that I am too lazy to mess about getting them out.Your collection needs to be in a safe, so a point maybe worth considering.
The result being that I wear the same watch all the time negating the pleasure of having a collection.
The solution is to get an insurance policy which allows a certain total value of watches to be permitted outside of the safe.
6x watches £217 plus shipping no idea how good they are . Not as nice as above but almost certainly cheaper

I don't need an elephant gun for an ant, and a number of the systems for sale seem to be more complex than I need (though I am not an authority on watches, simply an enthusiast and this statement might be entirely wrong and I am open to correction). Not sure what you are construing as "moaning", but my ethos is paying what I think something is worth, rather than some arbitrary cost attached to it. It has served me well enough and allowed me whatever I have. I regret naming the watches now, but unfortunately there is little point in editing the post as it has been quoted.
I've applied that to everything I have ever purchased whether it cost pounds or pence and that is entirely my prerogative, but thanks for your helpful post.

My Mrs bought me 3 Beco Boxy watch winders for Xmas (Google it). They have a carbon finish and are pretty compact (mine are in my wardrobe). Best thing is they are stackable (up to 12 I think) and you only need one power supply. They wind both directions too, switchable.
About £65 each. I happy with mine. Worth a look.
