I have an itch I'd like to scratch and would like to put up a WTB as I have on tz-uk. Is that contravening any rules?

I Cant see why not, provided people respond by pm or email and not on the forum, but I'm not a mod

I'm not sure about placing a wanted ad, but you could try asking for advice where to buy a particular watch wink

Wanted's are relatively safe, it's just a nono regarding adverts in the forums.

Well, since you ask...

Recent threads on tz-uk have drawn me more and more to Stowa, the Marine Original because it'll serve as a stop-gap to my grail (D&S 99.0 or 99.1), and also to the Flieger on the old tan strap, which looks like a fantastic weekend watch that'll go with anything.

So, before I try and choose and buy direct, if someone out there is looking to move one from their collection I'd love to hear from you in case we can have a deal. It might mean that with my budget I can get two bites of the cherry for the price of 1, which would be all the better!

If anyone has either of the below they'd consider parting with, I'd be interested to hear from them.

1) a white-dial Marine Original - will consider either finish and any strap (preference though being for a light brown croc)

or
2) a Flieger with black dial, preferably with date and logo (happy to consider others though), and preference on an old style strap.

Please do get in touch if you'd like one of these to go to a good home!

Cheers,
Tim

(Images above linked to via Stowa website - I hope that's OK, but if no will happily remove if I'm contravening rules)
