My best friend is getting married soon, as best man the soon to be wife has tasked me with finding a Panerai for under £2.5k.
Would need box and papers as really concerned how good the fakes are these days. Have looked on Paneristi but the models confuse me.
Is this possible for under 2.5k? 44m luminor marina or something like that. Not a Radiomir/Submersible.
Any help would be appreciated, even a list of the likely affordable model numbers would be a start.
Much appreciated

Probably the best selection of new and 2nd hand Pannys. You'll struggle to get one for £2.5k though, base Luminor Marinas are still over £3k. Worth contacting them though in case you can do a deal or they can source one for you.

You shouldn't have a problem finding a Zero (PAM000) for under £2.5k. From a private seller a complete zero with boxes / papers etc. will be around £2.1k - £2.2k, maybe slightly less if you're lucky. The zero is a "base" Luminor i.e. manual wind. If you want an automatic you might find £2.5k isn't quite enough.
Personally, I love the zero. Pic of mine below

I'm not sure if this is still for sale - http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

Last time I had a look in the window there was an IWC Portuguese, DSSD, Explorer, JLC, Breitling for Bentley, Breitling Chronomat. The shop is tiny and very old fashioned, you have to ring a buzzer to be let in though I've never bothered because I wouldn't want to waste their time.
Don't think they do 0% though.
There's also Berrys, Goldsmiths, and Hugh Rice in Hull. Hugh Rice stock Blancpain and Glasshutte Original

Hi all,
i have found a 2004 model that is within budget from a reputable dealer it comes with a 1 year warranty, with this in mind would anyone be concerned with the age?
Thanks again.

I would hope that it would last a lifetime if looked after. At 7 years old it's probably due its first service.i have found a 2004 model that is within budget from a reputable dealer it comes with a 1 year warranty, with this in mind would anyone be concerned with the age?
