I have just purchased a bi-metal datejust 8 years old but never worn, and still with the original rolex sticker on the back ......it has a champagne face and I would like to change it for a more modern face perhaps white with Roman numerals.....anybody know who can do it for me and the cost ?

I enquired the cost to fit a new dial to a DJ and my AD thought about £80. Add the dial itself between £100 + depending on what it is where you get it from and that's your cost.
As above diamond faces are quite lot!

Hi Michael,

Exchanging the dial on your watch is a very straightforward 10 minute job for a competent watchmaker. IIRC, Rolex UK will exchange the dial for you the next time the watch is serviced, the cost of the dial is >£300 plus the cost of the service.

You might find an AD with an in-store watchmaker, who may sell the new dial and do the job for you. Try Cottrills in Wilmslow would be a good start, or Watches of Switzerland in Manchester.

Lastly, most watch dealers would have a stock of various Rolex dials. Most would be happy to sell or exchange a dial and arrange fitting. There are a couple of well regarded guys in your area, Mike Wood at 'The Old Watch Shop' in Southport, and Haywood Milton at Miltonaires in Liverpool.

Hope this helps...
