Hi

Looking for a restaurant serving with good food and service in either Amersham or Beaconsfiled where I could take colleagues from work. There seem to be plenty of choices in either, any recommendations?

Thanks

Try the crazy bear in Beaconsfield - interesting interiors and good food to boot.

Slightly out of the box, have you considered the two pubs in the village of Penn Street, between Amersham and Wycombe. Hit & Miss and the Squirral, both nice pubs for an evening out.

Amersham Old Town has Gilbey's which has a great upstairs room for upto 11 people. The main dining area downstairs is excellent.

Crazy Bear is good.

Artichoke in Amersham is also very nice - if small - and bit less folding than Gilbys

+ 1. A bit further away in Chesham is Guido, a formal Italian.

How about Mr Poons in Chalfont St Giles

Not been there for many years but it was fantastic when I did go.
