Hotel/place to stay in/around cambridge this weekend?
Discussion
Loads of places in Cambridge itself , not all of them cheap!
There's the obvious choice of the Hotel du Vin - http://www.hotelduvin.com/hotels/cambridge/cambrid... not cheap, but very nice and 'boutiquey'
My personal choice would be the Varsity - http://www.thevarsityhotel.co.uk/ - a little quirky but very well thought of by people who've stayed...
There's also the De Vere University arms which is very central and often does offers, and the larger chains such as Crowne Plaze, Holiday Inn, etc, are all present in/around Cambridge itself.
Huntingdon is 10 miles or so from Cambridge and this place http://www.huntsbridge.com/theoldbridgehotel_locat... is very good - great service and nice food. Huntingdon is not 'all that' mind....
Handy for the Imperial Air musuem at Duxford but also close to Cambidge is this place - never been there but have a friend who stayed and said it was nice.. http://www.johnbarleycorn.co.uk/accommodation.htm
Hope that helps!
