Yes, there was a consultation round North Bucks maybe 6 months ago - plenty of signs around on the roads. There was an online consultation.

Looking at the final decision made in our area - all the lower limits were accepted (e.g. Buckingham bypass from NSL to 40) and all the raising of limits rejected. Sigh...

Plenty of limits dropped in South Bucks, but this was ages ago.

It was a public consultation so advertised in local press and details displayed on prominent temporary road signs. I added my views (all ignored obviously) online.

I've noticed quite a few changes along my local route (A413) including -

Padbury is now 30mph.
The 30mph zone has been extended north out of Winslow.
A 40mph zone has been added to the south of Winslow.
The 30mph zone to the south of Whitchurch has been extended.
The 30mph zone between Great Horwood and Winslow has been extended out of Great Horwood.
A 40mph zone has been added between Great Horwood and the round-about towards Milton Keynes.

Basically every town/village that i've been through has had it's speed limit extended or a new one added to reduce the NSL zones.

Great, more speed limits to ignore! rolleyes

The amount I'm concentrating on pig spotting I'm sure I'll end up with eyes shaped like a speed camera.

On the A413 I just use the speed limits that where there, plus when common sense tells me it's a good idea to go slower like the new houses north of Aylesbury.
