Nissan specialist Watford area

Got a problem with my 2003 nissan xtrail. Looking for any local knowledgeable garages tbh.

It's suffering from an intermittent loss of power under load.

From the owner's forum the fault appears to be with the Suction Control Valves - they need replaced. Don't like the main dealer's quote though!!

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Gave the fella a call but tbh he seemed doom and gloom on the phone.

Told me the car was notoriously unreliable, turbos blow up, fuel pumps fail, etc, etc - i've owned it for 10 years now, over 100k miles and its never missed a beat??!!

Anyway someone suggested I may have picked up some dodgy fuel, filter changed, all fixed, £30.
