The annual St Marys motorshow in Bishops Stortford is on this Sunday, 16th September. Open to the public at 11, exhibitors need to arrive before 10.30.

Always a good show althought the usual organiser has stepped down at short notice it would seem so there has not been a great deal of publicity. Would be nice if a few clubs or owners showed up to fill the field.

full details: http://www.stmarysmotorshow.co.uk/index.htm

or if wanting to book club space email Tina at SMA@stmarys.net
its free for exhibitors and a nice town centre location if you want to leave your car and try out some of the fine dining available in town!

We sent an e-mail regarding space for a club stand last week and as of Sunday hadn't heard back. This morning I e-mailed our club person to see if there was any news on the event and have just sent her the e-mail address you've posted to see if it's the same one.
Will hopefully be there with a few cars. smile

Looks good.

Doesn't say anything on there about public parking or whether or not there is an entry fee though?

official from the school:

Yes - plenty of spaces still available - we are not sending out entry passes this year - just turn up BEFORE 11:00 am on Sunday 16th and bag yourself some spaces for club members on top field. Have a great day and weather is going to be great !

Regards
Hugh

Great - just turn up before 11:00am on Sunday.. look forward to seeing you and the car. Entry is FREE for all exhibitors and their passengers ! Plenty of space for all club members!

Hugh

I live in the town though and there has not been any publicity this year as far as I can tell, usually have signs on roundabouts around the town and even at the school itself there is nothing, seems the council have cracked down on fly posting. The event is ON though!

see you there.

there is usually parking in the school car park on the adjacent St Josephs school. Entry is charged for if you are not showing, dont know how much.
If anyone has a classic or sporting Renault please feel free to join us on the Renault Alpine Owners stand.
