I have been sent the below on Facebook, I don't know the family myself but found this so sad I had to share it on here and spread the word. I have removed the email address, but if you DM me I will pass any info on. PleSorry for posting in a couple of areas of the site.

"My uncle, a Peterborough resident has been completely deaf and blind since the age of 15. Despite this he has spent a majority of his life riding jet skis and motorbikes and bikes, raising countless funds for various charities and even setting the odd Guinness world record along the way. He now has a cycle repair business, successfully succeeding in his day to day duties using only touch. In the early hours of this morning (21/11/2012) in a seemingly planned attack on a disabled man he was robbed of the following:

Although the items were stolen in Peterborough there is every chance these items will be sold nationwide/ on websites and as such I ask you to share this page, pass it on to as many people as you can and keep your eyes open for any of the items listed. Any item you see that matches any of the descriptions above PLEASE LET ME KNOW. or email me: *******
My uncle is an inspiration to me and it makes me feel sick to think someone can be victimised like this. The perpetrators were well aware of the disability he has struggled to overcome for the last 40 years and without a concern, callously robbed him of his prized possessions and livelihood, right up to the television he had bought a week ago, not for himself, but so my grandparents could watch it on Christmas Day.

The total cost of these items does not compare to the effect this will have on my Uncles life, even for me it is hard to understand how he functions day to day, if you then imagine what it feels like to be robbed of the only things you are able to enjoy you find yourself in a dark, dark place. Any item we are able to reclaim will be a small step however so I genuinely appreciate even the smallest effort you go to to help him out.""
