Farm shops/local butchers in or around St Neots?

Morning all,

I've just moved up to the St Neots area and I'm still finding my way around. I'm now on the hunt for a good farm shop or local butchers that does good quality, preferably grass fed meat.

Any locals have any recommendations?

Butchers - theres a very good one in Buckden - just off the A1 north roundabout from St Neots. Head into Buckden (exit after the North A1) and it's on the right hand side a hundred metres or so down - http://www.aboutmyarea.co.uk/Cambridgeshire/St-Neo...
Also a good butchers in Brampton - http://www.measuresbutchers.co.uk/.
There is now a butchers in St Neots but I've not used it so can't comment.

With regards to farm shops, there is one out near Everton - http://www.woodviewfarm.co.uk/ (about 10 mins drive) and also GM Growers have a huge place which is just outside of Biggleswade, turn right at the sainsburys r/bout on the A1 towards Old Warden and its on the right at the next r/bout.
Theres also a small farmshop at Roxton garden centre, though again I've not used it so can't really comment.

Cheers - I fancy a nice early drive on Saturday so will head down to Woodview Farm.

Another vote for Woodview. The farm across the road from us actually supplies the farm shop, so we get to see birth to plate and can confirm quality is great.

It's quite a big shop as well, which means choice and variety is excellent. Decent roads to get there as well
