As above really-after recommendations as I’m looking at getting some paint restoration work done on one of my fleet. It’ll basically amount to a full respray bar the roof.
A few recommendations would be great so I can get a few estimates. Happy to travel a reasonable distance (say 20 miles or so).

At one time i would have said Finishline at Gravely but i'm sure i saw someone say they had been fairly poor recently
Finishline have done a lot of work on various cars for me and I've got a decent relationship with them. Apart from a couple of wobbles (which to be fair were rectified perfectly without fuss, so I've no problem with this) the quality of the work is excellent and they're very familiar with MG Rover products, which does help as that's mostly what my fleet consists of!The quote for the work I'm after on this particular car came out at way more than I was expecting and I wouldn't mind getting a couple of other estimates for comparison-but I'd rather go somewhere that is recommended. I don't fancy dealing with an "under the arches" bodger!

I’ll be following this as I too would like some work done.
I emailed Finishline with photos, as they have previously fitted a Jap spec roof vent to an Impreza I had once. They made a decent job of that and I’ve been following their work since.
In essence Chris wants to see my car in the flesh before committing to a quote.
I’d be very interested in others local recommendations.

I have used Cougar and Solus in Luton on modern stuff but I would speak to John Curl in Houghton Regis on older / classic cars - they are top blokes and where my TVR’s would go.
Blimey-John Curl! My Grandfather used to know him, I didn’t know he was still going
