Once it stops raining, is there any interest in a local PH meetup in the South Herts area? I'm in Potters Bar but maybe something like St Alban's/ Welwyn GC or even Hatfield perhaps. Suggestions please if its worth doing?

Ok Thanks for the replies. Hopefully there'll be a few more interested once I've found a suitable location. Will try and update later today.
I remember going to a North London/ Herts meet at the Cowper Arms in Letty Green in 2012 which was very well attended so presumably there's still a demand for this sort of thing.
Just found the thread for that here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Any suggestions or ideas, please feel free bow

From memory of meets on this thread there’s:

The Goat at Hertford Heath
The Rusty Gun on the B656 (great driving road)
Flying Horse at Clophill (Beds rather than Herts, but they were happy to host and did decent bacon butties)

But I’m open to other venues. smile

The Goat at Hertford Heath is always a good shout. I've been going there for years on the first Sunday every month and there is a nice coffee van in the car park, but can get a bit crowded and chaotic if the weather is nice.
An alternative is Bea's Coffee Barn in Kings Langley which I've been to before for a car meet.

Ill pop in there and ask at some point this week but it depends on how many would be coming along and which date suits most people.

The De Havilland Museum at London Colney is another possibility. https://www.dehavillandmuseum.co.uk/

Another couple of venue suggestions;

Caffeine & Machine - The Bowl
Shuttleworth Collection (near Biggleswade)

I'm going past Kings Langley this afternoon so will pop in and enquire if they can accommodate us and possible dates.

I've been to Bea's Barn in Kings Langley today and spoken to them about a meet there. They can accommodate 40 to 50 cars or more if required in the grass field but subject to it being dry.
Coffee and bacon rolls will be available but just need to confirm a date.

I was thinking something like Sunday 22nd March so that gives everyone plenty of notice.
If there's enough people interested , Ill confirm it with them. No need for anyone to pre-book, just need a rough idea of how many going.
Once confirmed I'll post a separate thread in the events section.

Ill need to let the them know roughly how many will be attending so if I could ask you to add your user ID to this if you are likely to be going.
