What old car was this on the B645?
Discussion
At around 6.40pm this evening it followed me from Kimbolton along the twisty B645, it wasn't slow and it sounded lovely.
I couldn't get any more than these two photos. It turned out of a junction so I saw it from the side, and as I turned off caught a view of the rear. It was silver, long and sleek, pointy, vents in wings and an oval split rear screen. The front screen is narrow and high. Mayber 50's Merc, Bugatti ?? Number plate was possibly 5 digit, black and silver and ending in maybe a 'C' - Though I cant be certain of this.
Whatever it is, I liked it

I'm not sure the pictures do it justice, it was quite long, and this isn't captured well.

I'm without a running car at the moment and just taking a 6 mile walk to pick my kids up from school has had it's benefits.
I've just seen this beauty again. Didn't manage to get photos, though now assuming it's local and being used I will try at some point.
Reg search showed it as a Talbot coupe. Further pictorial research is leading me to believe it's a late 1930's Talbot Lago T150 possibly.
