I see they're doing it again this year - 31st July/1st August. Is anyone going for this? I didn't make it to the race in the end, sadly suffering a death on day one, meaning the event got effectively cancelled.

Might well trundle up with my camera - anyone with a boat fancy a passenger?!

Sure you're not getting confused? Doesn't feature as far as I know. The council wanted it to continue but the 2010 promoters went bust owing money to the race organisers effectively putting paid to this year.

What a tit!! Could have sworn I saw 2011 plastered on the website
