Boat hood fittings

Has anyone encountered any fastenings like these? They hold the front of the hood to the top of the windscreen:

Never seen that and the link seems to indicate a unique product to Freeman so I doubt many have.

Similar fittings about though.

The current ones are very tarnished and reflect badly (if at all, geddit?) on the nicely varnished mahognany... it's tricky to take them off for rechroming as then there is nothing to secure the hood front for 4-8 weeks and new ones are £70. And given various past issues I prefer not to sponsor Sheridan Marine if I can avoid it. So I was looking for new fixtures at an equal or lower price, and ideally not angled but straight.
