"Wallas 87D diesel oven & hob" So yes , it has a hob. Diesel is just another fuel after all.

Sooty food I assume tho... And cooks better lower down the temp range?

I remember my camping days with the CCF. The power source for the kitchen was petrol taken from the 3 tonners, pressurised and released via a nozzel as a mist to then be lit. Great piece of kit.

You can remap them so they can do the really high temperatures needed for cooking good pizzas.
