Hi all, In October I'm flying from Heathrow to JFK,New York. I am flying in economy class with British Airways on a Boeing 747.I was just wondering what sort of things to expect on the flight. any information is better than none.
Thanks in Advance,

I fly it pretty regularly. Nothing to expect other than a standard flight to an awful airport, it's a one of the busier routes but the planes aren't too bad. T5 is OK, Plane food or Giraffe are decent enough if you want some scran.

Check in online as soon as you can, and get your seat picked in advance. BA charge you for the privilege if it's not within 24 hours of flying, but there's a few good seats worth having - check here http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/British_Airways/B...

The two times I've flown cattle class on that flight I've been upgraded to World Traveller Plus, once paid once FOC. It's much nicer.

If TV is important why didn't you find out (from BA) before you booked?

I wasn't the one who booked it.
