A-10s over Norfolk

Been visting the folks this last few days & saw something I have not seen for a long time - pairs of A-10s wheeling over The Wash. Good to see. Anyone know what unit they were? Must admit that I thought that all A-10s were now Air National Guard units back in the USA now.

That brings back memories of my childhood. Me and my Dad sitting on the cliff edge at Cowden watching A-10s practice gun runs and bombing runs

10 aircraft were over from Germany on deployment training for Afghanista based at Lakenheath.

They've been doing low level flying in Wales aswell.
