I know sod all about modern fighters, but the Russians do have a knack for making some sleek but imposing looking planes. Lovely.

Not as stealthy as the F22 or F35 I'd bet, but it's probably 10% of the cost.

No Thrust vectoring by the looks of it.

Does look like it may have rear facing radar.

Did the SU37 have reward firing wing tip missles or was that a prototype?

No.

That was Firefox. And you had to think in Russian to fire them wink

Ask Clint Eastwood next time you see him.

As sukhoi have said previously, the first few are aerodynamic prototypes and have yet to be fitted with thrust vectoring so it is designed to have it and I imagine most will.

The Sukhoi 37 did have a rearward facing radar and optical sensors and apparently could fire at targets to the rear. If not quite behind then very much "off-boresight".

The 37 was never made though, dont know if the ability to do that was incorporated in any other versions like the 30MKI. Or even if the capability was tested.

That looks epic. Very, very menacing and sleek lick
