A little bit of Googling reveals that the First Air 737 that crashed yesterday was G-GNWN and was originally delivered new to Wien Air Alaska in 1975. It must have been one of the oldest 737s still in service.

These things happen I suppose.

I have seen so many crashes at airshows over the years - both on TV and for real.
