I'm going to win the Euromillions tonight (all of it) and I've been dreaming about buying a massive boat (or two). Where can you suggest I start looking, did a quick google search but they all look crap

I'd suggest posting in the boat forum (under Pie&Piston)

I'd be straight on the phone to Edmiston - can put you in contact with one of their brokers if you do win as well.... wink

Wait until the end of the month and head to the Monaco yacht show.

Sunseekers are nice enough but always considered them to be the Range Rover Sport of boats, surely if you wont euromillions you would want something with more class. This being PH and all, most people would look down on a Sunseeker from their custom built yachts.

well said, Sunseekers are good boats but a fully custom yacht is certainly the only way to have something unique for the right money, you will never have the biggest so you may as well have the best, therefore the boat will need to be built in N Europe preferably the UK

Incedentally I will always have a few spare tickets to the Monaco YS and would certainly be happy to give them to a few PH'ers if in the area. I plan on posting a message in the boat section closer to the time.

There is always a large contingent of UK companies in the Superyacht UK pavillion, still the best in the business.

http://superyachts.apolloduck.com/ is a good starting point.

A copy of Boat International is another.

Now this reminds me to check my email to find the one from ational Lottery saying "We have news about your ticket" and then I'll be off to get my boat! Even if it is a Matchbox model!

Sunseeker for me if i pocket the £110 miliion from last nights euromillions.

I was down in Devon last week & was window-shopping in the Sunseeker office @ Torquay Marina. One smallish advert caught my eye.

It was for a used Sunseeker with an asking price of 18 million euro's....

Southampton is on soon.

Remember if you blow all your winnings on a boat you won't be able to keep it anywhere or run it... I expect moorings in Monaco are more than £25/ft!
