Any other small boaters nautical types on here?

Just wondered if there are any other nautical enthusiasts on here? Have recently ventured back into boats with a 16ft Dory open sports boat with a 90hp on the back, so it does go some 
plus a wee backup just in case.
Thinking about some extended or overnight fishing trips or journeys down the coast & wondered if they was anybody else who might be up to something similar? Nearest launch for us is Poole but anywhere along the Dorset/Hants coast would be of interest.
So far we've been out about 10 times, sorting a few issues out but now it's pretty well sorted, has a current range of about 20 miles before refuelling required. Have all the kit organised so keen to get out a bit & venture down the coastline some more, any others on here do similar?

Out of interest any pic's of the Dory and how much did it set you back? Many years ago I used to do a bit of safety duty for a sailing club in a Dory that was around 16ft (granted, it only had a 75hp outboard) and I loved that boat. Much more fun to drive than the (slightly more powerful) RIB's we also had.

We had it out on Wednesday after the storms whilst the wind had dropped, was quite a nice day. We went from Poole down to Mudeford Harbour for some lunch & back. Being spring tides Mudeford harbour & entrance can be interesting with an 8 odd knott current!
There was fairly hefty southwesterly swell running which it managed quite well & on way the way back a good force 4 picked up which made it pretty choppy on top of the swell. It handled it very well I must say, its a sport hull as opposed to a twin dory type. Handles pretty much like a similar size RIB but I guess its a bit heavier. We also had a play in the waves before the tide dropped on the sandbar to the south east of Poole Harbour a favourite windsurfing spot of mine.
Not had it maxed out on flat water yet, but 40 plus mph seems easy enough, previous owner says it should do 50mph I'll believe that when I see it. Its got a big pitch prop on it so it might do...
It gets on the plane at about 14-16 mph & happily cruises on the plane in chop & the swell at those speeds & plenty of extra oomph to pop it over a wave.
I'll get some boat pics next time were out in it, as I've only some from onboard, meanwhile.

This thread demolished a good chunk of my afternoon as I started digging out my old RYA paperwork and started trying to remember all the stuff I've forgotten in the 10 years since I last took anything out on the water. I've had a chat with a few friends (with no nautical experience) and have persuaded them that taking one out on a day hire early next year could be a cracking day out.
Think I need to find a way to get back out on the water before I do any of that though.

Actual range is more like 30 cruising at sub 20 knotts as proven last week, but thats running it very low. 20 miles is its "safe" 2/3 rd range allowing for contingency. However yes is the answer as we'd like to have a good days range. An additional 30l tank is planned & stored in the mid area under the console with a line going back. We have been carrying an extra jerry can, but refilling in a bobbing boat is not always a wise or safe idea. Looks like space under seats/console there
Have also been testing the backup engine for range & speed, its only a 3.3hp
& about 4-5 knotts is tops with that. Thats a restricting factor for sure as to how far out to sea or down the coast we might go between parts/landing areas.
