Good job it's a Lufthansa A380 though - had it been an Air France example I'd have bet a tenner that it managed to tt the 747 on the way past.

I have seen those planes together and although the A380 is bigger than the 747 it doesn't dwarf it like it does in that photo.

well seeing as the Trent 900 engines on the Lufthansa A380 are 4.55m in length and the GEnx on the 747 are 4.69m in length it proves that this photo is BS. The engines on this A380 look at least 1.5 times longer than the 747 which mean the rest of the aircraft must be too.

BS of the highest order. I see them parked up next to each other every time I go to work, and I can assure you there isn't much in it. The A380 is an ugly monkfish with the payload of a couple of beagle-pups tied together, however.

Ive seen them both at Manchester aiport and the A380 is bigger, but not loads bigger. Its more like a double decker 747 than something uber bigger!!

Ive also seen the Antanov 225 land at Manchester and thats mega!!
