I'm considering changing the Detroit diesels in order to improve the knicker elastic snapping properties of the boat A pair of these?

Somehow I don't think they're GM diesels. biggrin

All that fuss and racket for only 108mph! rolleyes

I've been a passenger with Jackie Setton at 100mph in a 21ft Skater with a Mercury 265 outboard. I know it was a genuine 100mph because I was the one holding the GPS. smile
I didn't like it. There was a bit of fuss and racket going on in my trousers though!

Ah yes but the marathon boat would make it to the end of an offshore race over 200 miles whereas the fuss and racket in your trousers would probably put paid to your race before you passed the start boat. hehe

This is true mate but for some strange reason they don't allow the togs to get too close to the action at records week. wink

You seem to be confusing editing with position smile

73 seconds of a photo of a placid lake with something going 'nnnneeeee' on the soundtrack! I thought maybe the cameraman was deaf and pointing the camera the wrong way - which might explain why the twit ran out of tape or batteries just as the boat appeared banghead
